Validity of SPD as a Diagnosis

The SPD Scientific Workgroup, organized by the SPD Foundation, consists of 50 physicians and scientists from research institutions. The purpose of the Workgroup is to provide data and scientific information about SPD. The following study found that children with SPD have differences in brain structure that makes this diagnosis unique from other neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD and Autism:
